Quick & Easy To Operate.

Ember entry and associated spot fires, rather than direct flame contact, accounts for 80% of homes destroyed by bushfires in Australia, as per a recent study by Western Sydney University. Fire Halo is an affordable, simple to use and permanent tool for helping to protect your home during a bushfire flying ember attack. Please view the short videos below to discover how the Fire Halo Protection System can work for you.

How The Fire Halo System Works

More Than Just Fire Protection

How It Works In A Nutshell.

Put simply, the Fire Halo Protection System allows you to effectively block all of the downpipes from the roof of your home, and then allows you to then fill those downpipes and then your roof's gutters with water. This water can be drawn from your water tank or from town/mains supply. Your water filled gutters then act as an extinguisher of embers that land. The system is particularly beneficial should there be flammable debris residing in your home's roof gutters.

So, What Components Will You Need For Your Fire Halo Protection System?

One. Main Fire Halo Valve Assembly.

Fire Halo Main Valve

This is the primary mechanism of the Fire Halo Protection System and is constructed from 90mm diameter heavy duty PVC piping. As well as shutting off the downpipe to which it's attached, it is also the point from which you will pump water up into your roof's downpipe and gutter system, either from your water tank or from town/mains supply. This connection, as per the video above, is a regular garden hose attachment. No special equipment is required.

Two. Shut Off Valves For Each Subsequent Downpipe.

Fire Halo Downpipe Valve

In addition to the main component above, each and every downpipe on your home will require one of these shut off valves that are easily manually engaged if you wish to fill the downpipes and roof gutters of your home. Again, these are constructed from a 90mm diameter heavy duty PVC.

With the Main Valve Assembly and a Shut Off Valve for each of your home's remaining downpipes in place, you Fire Halo Protection System is ready to go.
